Yeaaaaaah, I finally got my Clothcraft glasses!~ I'm all studious now but more about that later~ Anyway, besides that amazing occurance, things have been pretty good on game. Joined a new Nyzul static a while back with Orodruin (the same guy from the older static) and it's been great. Everyone one of us have Xbox Live so we can all chat over the headsets during the runs. Makes things go MUCH smoother. Although its strange, we're all on Xbox live, but I'm the only one not playing FF on Live, I play on PC! XD So far we've gotten numerous drops, but personally I've gotten Askar Korazin and Denali Bonnet. ^^ I've missed out on a Denali Jacket though thanks to Cerberus and SE being retarded. We get Cerberus for the last boss, and we have around 5 seconds left when I finally kill him, and right as we see he dropped a Denali Jacket and Vorpal Sword, the zone kicks us. How retarded is that? /sigh oh well. I've also managed to snag Rank 9 Sand'oria. Need to 9-1 still, but haven't been able to find help for it, or help for my DRK AF Helm fight for that matter. Tuufie and I tried to duo the AF Helm but we failed. He wanted to fight the 2 skeletons first and do the weapon last. Well while I was killing a skeleton, the other 2 mobs pwned him. After my skeleton was dead I engaged the Weapon and used Hundred Fists and got him to around 2% before I died. So we could of won had we killed him first! ><

As for the last few days, I've been focused solely on getting my Clothcraft glasses. I'm currently 54 Clothcraft too as well. The only problem is now I'm stuck with Green Ribbons which require 2 Silk Cloth to make. I have to do that until 62 urgh. Besides that, been going to dynamis more regularly now. However work has now prevented me from going on Sundays, which kind of sucks but oh well. Oh! I also got a Wyrm Armet -1! However, it would cost 300k to trade that with my AF2 in for the AF2+1 so I think I'll hold off. As much as I would love to get it right now, it would require me to pull my AF out of storage and I haven't the room. Also I'm rarely ever on DRG anymore (much to my dismay) so it would be kind of pointless to spend that much money right now.

As for real life stuff, it is currently my spring break, which means....homework! I'm very behind on work so I've been catching up. Meanwhile Saoirse is in CA visiing her family. She'll be back on Saturday. Other activities I've been doing is playing Xbox 360. Picked up Star Ocean: The Last Hope and its hella fun. Best RPG since Lost Odyssey I'd have to say, (as for JRPGs). Other than that, I went through my FFXI Screenshots and have a bunch to show off! So I will leave you with that! :D

Final Semester

Well I rarely post anymore but anyway, not too much going on. I was in a Nyzul Isle static for a bit there and got to floor 20 before it finally fell through. Nobody seems to have the motivation to stay focused or is that reliable :/

Besides that, I've gotten BLU to 58, and have recently started leveling DRK, (Thanks to Manders <3). I joined a party with her level synced at 37, and managed to get 42 in one party. Was amazingly fun. After that I partied in a few random ones until 47 in which I joined some other group and got 52! My DRK is swimming along smoothly which is pretty cool. Now I have to cap my skills for it, which kind of sucks but meh. I'm already 3/5 on DRK AF too ^^ Also the other night I did my final BLU AF quest with Darkdawn and Esor who needed it also. So yay I can store that now. That's pretty much all that has been going on. Saoirse started playing the game again but she only logs in once in a while. She's been leveling DNC. I still mostly log in for Limbus and that is it so hopefully I'll get another burst of energy. I had a great vacation and got a lot done. Oh! I also managed to get Rank 7 Sandoria so yay, almost done with it~

I'm supposed to start classes today but they have been pushed back to the 15th, so I dunno what to do for the next 3 days. No work until Saturday (I just worked 8 nights in a row Dx). POL is down for maint right now so I'm just sitting here. I'll probably play Xbox or something. I bought Tomb Raider Underworld (for like $10 new XD) and have recently beaten it. I got all the achievements but one, but I don't feel like playing through the whole thing over again on hard mode right now. I'm not sure what other game I want to play. Probably hop on Call of Duty or something until maint is done. Anyway, sayonara~

Soooooo. I do exist :o I barely play anymore lately. I usually only log on for Limbus and that's it. Sometimes to talk to people but in all honesty, no one really plays anymore. At least out of the people I used to play with from my LS and friends. There are still a few around granted, but not much going on. However, I must say congratulations to Seraph and Ararith for finally getting engaged! Big news! Now if only he'd update HIS blog too! :o Besides that, not much going on. Been playing a lot of Xbox 360. Hmm some new games I have gotten are Infinite Undiscovery, The Last Remnant, Call of Duty: World at War, and some others. Also got a Wii finally too o.ov but barely play it. As for FFXI events, I only log on for Limbus like I've said, or if I feel like playing Blue Mage. Almost 57 yay. I dunno, the game has lost its major appeal for me: the players. I'm not saying there are no more people on there I like, its just my best friends have either quit or play rarer than I do (Yes I'm talking about you Tuuf!) Speaking of Tuuf, he just yelled at me for not being online much so I guess I'll have to remedy that. It's kind of sad when I get yelled at for my online time from someone who is barely online as it is Dx

Mostly though I wanted to put this out there! All I really want to do lately and for the past few months is the new endgame events. Salvage/Nyzul/ZNM/etc. My previous Salvage group fell through and I won't go into details why, but I really want to do these events. All I've gotten from Salvage is a 35 piece. Not even enough to do anything with. Also now there are all these people running around with new Weapon skills, it makes me sad I don't have them yet! Anyway, if anyone knows any good groups, drop me a /tell on game or AIM or something. I really want to do some of that stuff :o

Anyway, that's about all thats going on with me. Got a weird email this morning from my Youtube account from a Jrock band in CA looking for a guitarist :o I was really flattered but they are in CA and I'm in AZ ;.; bummer ya? Oh well, talk about a major ego boost! XD

I'm Back

Well, I've been back now for about 2 weeks and I haven't bothered to update the blog. Mostly because nothing of major concern has happened. I finally got my rollback and all my stuff was restored and I am finally able to play the game again. However it feels very different. I don't know what it is, but there is no zest that I was hoping for. Endgame activities have become rather stagnant if I can even attend them. Work cuts in on a lot of stuff so I can't ever go to Salvage, Sky/Sea, or Limbus much lately. Hopefully that will all change next semester.

Anyway, I've been focused on leveling BLU for a bit here. The first few days I was back I spent the time meriting and got around 4 merits. Then I decided to start up BLU, which is now at level 30. It's been a lot of fun although learning spells is rather tedious, but thanks to Crlmsonking the other day for helping me learn 4 in record time for me! On another side note, I got my Final Fantasy XI: Piano Collections CD in the mail today! I took a quick picture to show you what it looks like, (mostly to copy my friend Tuufers, who also snagged a copy as well as the in-game item ^^).

Pretty snazzy eh? Anyway, I haven't taken a screenshot of my Mog House yet, I reorganized everything to fit in the Harpsichord. I will update this entry with a screenshot sometime in the next day or so as I am currently on the airship on my way to Jeuno.

Besides the recent stuff, that's all that has been happening. Been working a lot. Sao and I purchased some tickets to the advance screening of The Dark Knight on Thursday night, so that is what I am most looking forward to. Expect a blog post on that as well! I'm also awaiting my preorder of Final Fantasy IV DS which comes out July 22nd. Looks to be a good month! Also looking forward to the new X-Files movie o.ob

Hacked

For those of you who haven't heard about it, I was recently hacked. Some lowlife managed to steal my ID and Password and log onto my character. What happened was on May 31st/June 1st, I logged off in Kuftal Tunnel around 1am PST. The next day, I tried to log on around 11-11:30am and it said my ID and Password were wrong. After a few more tries I began to worry. I asked a friend to do a /search for my name and low and behold there I was online...in Whitegate. I was furious and when my friend messaged my character, whoever it was logged off. After that it took me around 2 hours to get a hold of a GM and suspend my account, but alas, the damage had already been done. It took them a week to investigate the problem and when I was able to log on, my character was raped. The asshole was on NIN with all my Speed gear on, (AF+1, Sprinters boots, and even BLM sub for Warp) so he could go back and forth faster while stealing my gear. He managed to take everything I own besides a few stacks of COR cards. He left me with just my Rare/Ex stuff besides my Osode of course. All my AF, AF+1, AF2, and Sky/Sea gear are in tact, but all my weapons, armor for all my jobs, and other valuables are gone. I was thinking "Hmm, how can I find out who did this?" So I went to the AH and checked my delivery box and saw that player named Odidongbei had sent himself 24,425gil but never picked it up. I promptly cancelled it and wrote down his name. Furthermore I wanted to see if he sold any of my stuff so I went to FFXI AH.com and searched his name. Out of the 6-8 things he had up, 6 were items that were stolen from me, including my Hagun, Peacock Charm, Chiv Chain, etc. I checked my mules as well and I saw that he stole my Jujutsi Gi, Spirit Torque, and another item as well. However that was it, he left the rest of my random gear either because he ran out of time because of the suspension, or because he didn't want the rest. My 3rd mule was untouched as far as I can tell.

Anyway, after a LOT of drama from GM's, I finally got through to them and they said that to do a rollback would take another 7 days so here I am still waiting. A friend of mine, Glacian, also had this happen to him. Aparently it has been happening to a lot of people because of a recent Flash player hack where they can copy your registry over into their computers. Square Enix has been busy nonstop trying to fix all these hacks, but still they are impossible to get a hold of. I've been playing this game since day 1 it was released in the USA on PC and their customer support is just horrible. They offer next to no assistance on weekends (which oddly enough is when most people play the game right?) and that forces players to wait out their problems until Monday, only to find out that the Playonline Hotline is busy....all day. Then they place a GM call, as I did with my girlfriends character Saoirse, only to wait 6hours for a response. This is frustrating beyond belief.

After talking to a few people who have had rollbacks done, I do not know what to expect. Some say that all they got back were their rare/ex stuff and that was all that was saved to the servers. If that is the case, then I am screwed, for that is all I have at the moment. Sure that was the hard to get stuff, but literally ALL of my stuff that isn't Rare/ex is gone. When I talked to the GM, they said that gil, items, and gear would be restored upon rollback and that everything will be back to normal. I somehow find that hard to believe. GM's have really let me down recently. However the other night I logged on to Playonline, which was in a weird mode because my account was frozen for rollback, and ended up in a GM chat. The GM I spoke to was really nice and sympothized with me. He even explained the recent outbreak of hacks and showed his genuine concern for me. He went on to say how people like this are an abomination and that he is saddend to see a player such as myself with a long standing commitment to the game, screwed over like this. The people that did this have no souls. The GM made me feel better and assured me that the rollback should work and even went on to explain why it takes them 7 days to do it. Apparently they are just the middle men and all of the rollback takes place on the Japanese servers, so the GM's have to document everything they can and then that is sent out to another office who then translates it and does their own mini investigation. So much work for such a little thing to do. The first 7 day investigation was simply to determine if the account I spoke of, was indeed mine -_-.

Anyway that is what has been happening recently. I've been biding my time away with Assassin's Creed, GTAIV, and Eternal Sonata. However I really want to come back to the game and I really hope I can. Assuming what the rollback does for me though, will determine if I decide to stay in Vana'Diel. This experience has been horrible and my sympothy goes out to any who have been affected by this malicious hack.

Lucky Streak

Recently a bunch has happened that I just had to post about! First off, Versus did our normal Sea run on Thursday, and we closed it off with a Jailer of Justice fight. The amazing part was that the torque actually dropped! A few of us were allowed to lot and I actually won the lot O_O. Needless to say I didn't expect this at all but somehow I won. It didn't hit me for a day or two that I actually had a Justice Torque now, but when it did I was pumped! It's such a sexy piece of gear and it makes my SAM that much more awesome.

After that, Tuufless managed to find some time to log on and him, Esor and I decided to do an ENM. We did the antlion one and although nothing dropped, such as Hagun or Foragers Mantle, we still won and gained 2500exp so that was a win in my book! The good times didn't stop there however, later on during the weekend I did a random KS30 run because I've been needing my Destroyers forever for my MNK, and FINALLY they decided to drop. I also made about 35k too so that was an amazing night as well!

That's not all! Last night for our salvage run, something amazing happened. We got drops! I finally got my hands on my first actual piece other than 15s! I got my Usukane 35 Leg piece! We also did the boss and got an Ea's doublet 25 and usukane hands 25. I passed the hands because I don't have the money for them, and Ring can get them long before I will. Omoi got the Ea's. I'm still kind of in shock at how well the run went. Plus the fact that we actually got things to drop! This is amazing!

Recent Happenings

Sorry for not posting for a while. Been focused on classes and have been too lazy to update this. Although by following some other blogs from my link-list you can probably see what I've been up to by other people's posts. Recently I've been focused on getting my subs to lvl 37. I got BLM to 37 and then jumped to RNG which is now 36 at the moment, but should be 37 in the next day or two, (it really depends on my workload, it's finals week). Hmm let's see here. Been doing a lot of salvage. Although 99% of them are losses. I'm getting tired of losing too but we keep coming so close to winning almost all of them; its frustrating. I've managed to build up a bit of assault points so I'm not so stressed out now that I have a few runs in me for salvage. I can't really make it to CiB's assault runs very often, but I try to go when I can. I did a couple assault runs with Fishura a few days ago so ty to him for the extra needed points and wins. I'm currently like 18/25 for my next rank up! Then I can finally get the Perdu Blade.

Versus has been doing a little bit of sky and a little bit of sea, but not much to talk about there. Nothing major going on. Although for Sea we managed to get our first torques to drop, which was a Fortitude torque and a Prudence I believe (I had to go before the Prudence one dropped). Ashhhhh got the Fort and I think Noze got the Prudence. Check Ringthree's blog for details on that. This past Sunday we popped 2 Kirin's and got some great drops. First one dropped an Osode and Dryadic Abj. Second was W legs and ingot! Major congrats go to Crlmsonking for getting the W legs, she deserves them! Also congrats to her and Ash for the new baby on the way! Gogo team!

Now it's time for pictures! These are just some random stuff I've been doing since I last posted. First up is congrats to Esor for her Kyudogi. I'm not sure if I mentioned it in a previous post but here's a picture!

Some other stuff that I've been up to is trying to help Theora get his Subligar and swift belt. He's leveled DNC and now he's going THF so it's really useful for him. Also congrats to Ararith, Pilfer, Saoirse, and Esor for their Swift Belts. 5/5 Swift Belts for the win!

Next up is a random skillup party Sao and I went to with Theora and Pilfer a bit ago. Nothing major happened then, but here's a screenshot of it anyway!

I've also been crafting quite a bit lately. Managed to get my Clothcraft to 53! Working on building up some points for the Magnifying glasses, which are 70k I believe. So far I have 40k so almost there!

Lastly I'd like to just point out that the graphics in FFXI have always been good and after all these years playing it, I'm still hooked. Furthermore, no matter how many expansions are released, I still can't help but be amazed by Misareaux Coast, everytime I run through it. The waterfall is just breathtaking and it's still my favorite zone in the game.

Akanea's Wishlist/Goals

Well after seeing everyone else make a recent wishlist and a goal list I feel it is now my turn at it. Below is just a rough idea of items I'd like for a few of my jobs. Some of them are a long time away such as a full Usukane set, Ares set, and Askar set; I put them on here anyway because I do eventually want to get them. I still need the Morbolger Vine to complete the Brown Belt quest so I can give Saoirse back her brown belt and start the black belt one. As for the Destroyers, I have around 230 Kindred Seals devoted to getting one, but there have been no KS30 shouts recently so I'll just have to wait. My MNK at the moment feels rather gimp, also because I do not have any AF2 since ExplorerII finally disbanded before I could get some. Unsure if I'd like to join another Dynamis LS or not.

Oh my god. I don't know how I never saw this before but I want it more than life ;.;. Too bad I've never done Einherjar. Oh well, it's still dead sexy.
Some other random items that I'm slowly working towards is to finish my SAM AF+1 which I need the Temenos SAM Item yet. I might go for the Ninja Chainmail +1 as well. I'm pretty sure these are all the major items I want or need so I will slooooowly work towards getting them this year. Some goals that I would like to complete would be to finish the remaining ToA missions, get Rank 10 for Assaults, and beat Apocalypse Nigh.

In other news, not to much has been going on lately. Been doing a lot of Salvage but nothing yet. I need to try and keep my assault points up because I can never make it to Versus runs usually on Monday because it goes on while I'm in Limbus; and on Friday they mostly want to do Tier 10 runs. At the moment I have enough points for another 5-6 runs I think. As for THF, I managed to get Lv 70 and picked up a Thief's Knife. I really want to get THF to 75 but I haven't been in the mood to pull lately so I've been hesitant to seek for party. After THF is 75, I'm not sure where I want to go from there. I think I should probably go into meriting for most of my jobs. Recently I managed to get around 12-15 merits and use them for various things such as Great Katana skill and Kick Attacks for MNK. After meriting, I'm not sure if I should finish COR which is currently 61 or take up another job. I liked COR at first, but now it seems to be just like a BRD and that bores me. I originally leveled it because of the AF but grew to like it as a BRD/RNG type job, but now it seems to mostly focus on the BRD aspect. I've been wanting to level PLD too for some odd reason. I'm not sure why but it appeals to me. I think it's because I have full Homam and I want another job that could use it. However leveling PLD would require me to get even more gear and now that I'm not in a Dynamis LS, I can't get a hold of the AF2. So that's where I stand right now when it comes to goals and job plans. Hopefully I'll have a more interesting post next time. I'm currently waiting for the update to be over so I can log on FFXI!

Ok! So to start off, let me just say that Sunday was immensely stupid! We did a Kirin in Versus, and around 80% I managed to successfully call for help. -_- Now it obviously wasn't intentional, but I still feel bad. I was spell locked with all the people curing me as well as lagging a bit, so when I tried to turn and kite it away, once the other tank died, I somehow hit the wrong direction and entered on the Call for Help. The actual incident didn't upset too many people, but recovering from it was problematic. Took us 10 minutes or so to finally get it back under control. I'm not sure what exactly happened, but I believe that there were issues with people logging in and out and it didn't register right. Anyway, after we finally DID get it back, it went very smoothly. Kirin's 2hr didn't even hurt 99% of the LS! He used it on 1 person who was in the outside healing party. So that was nice after such a rocky start. The worse part though was that we only got a Raise III scroll, O ingot, and 4 Wind Crystals. So yeah, that was totally worth it.

On a more happier note, I got my Balm Sachet! A few days ago I was thinking to myself that I should check to see when it was male hume time. So when I did I was shocked to see that male hume time was now! I ran out to Ordelles caves and started to kill the damn Leech. After 2-3 kills, I was talking to Esor who wanted to come out to get chest for some quest. Well once she got there, I found it again and we both killed it which resulted in me obtaining my Balm Sachet! Now this isn't an amazing piece by any means, but I always wanted it and the extra STR+1 is kinda cool for a ranged ammo piece. Plus it's only level 30.

Some other news would be that we did a successful Ultima run last night in SUAD. Ahn finally has come back to us after a few months away from game and his first run back, he ended up tanking Ultima alongside Kitsume! I'm happy to say that the run went perfectly up to the CB stage. Fishura managed to stun every Dissipation, or at least I think it was him. I can't really tell because we had 7 BLM or so lol. Around the CB stage, things got messy, but that is usually when things go wrong. We did manage to recover and killed Ultima. We got some Nashira feet and legs which went to Sclera and Fishura. So congrats to them! We'll need to do some more farming to finish another Ultima and Omega set. Won't be doing another boss for another 1-2 weeks if that. Although we have done 2 Omega's and 1 Ultima in the last week and a half so that's nice. Also the last Omega we did was a huge success. Saoirse got her Homam Corazza!

Also, I'd like to say Happy Birthday to mah homegirl Sheldan~! It's her birthday this weekend so /hurray for her!!

I finally managed to hit 75 today with MNK! As soon as I dinged, I put on Byakko's Haidate, Walahra Turban, Brutal earring, and Kirin's Osode to see what kind of difference there would be. I was shocked at the increase in damage! I was hitting for around 55ish per hit with my Pahluwan body, O Hat, and Shura pants. Once I switched, I was hitting for around 70ish per hit and critical hitting for 120-140. O_O 3 cheers for MNK! My party disbanded shortly after so that was ok. I managed to get a 3k buffer and I popped Hundred Fists on the last mob and got my H2H skill to 274. When my party was over I went back to Whitegate and remembered that I had 3 merits. So after looking through the MNK Merit list I upgraded my Kick Attacks Rate to Lv2. I think that was a good choice. Although I'm really disapointed about the MNK Group 2 merits. None seem that great to me. If anyone has tips for group 2 then please comment, because I don't know what to invest in on those.

Now that my party was over I finally had a chance to finish my Snow Gorget quest. Earlier in the day when I logged on, I put up my flag and figured I'd go trade in my organs and buy the 2 items I needed for the Snow Gorget. Well after I bought a Clear Chip, I got a party invite right away so I didn't get a chance to trade them in. After the party however I went and purchased a Gorget and traded in all my items for the Snow Gorget. The organs I had to use for it were 10 Phuabo, 5 Aern, and 1 Yovra. I've had the Phuabo in my storage for god knows how long. Got them way back when Tuuf, Sao and I were trioing them in Sea. Then Seraph came out along with a few others I think and we got a lot of organs. My Aern organs were strictly from Sea with Vs, along with the Yovra organ which was the hardest to get. The Snow gorget is specifically for Tachi: Gekko and Impulse Drive. I haven't used it yet but I'll work it into my macro's somewhere. I'm really curious to see what kind of difference there will be. The next gorget I think I will go for, will either be for Tachi: Kasha, Wheeling Thrust, or Asuran Fists. I'm not sure what gorget those are or organs so I will have to do some homework on them.

Some other recent happenings would be our fun in Sea Serpent Grotto. my friend Ultrablue off TrueRune needed a BRD test seeing how he is 70 BRD now, so we decided to go get him one. Well some other LS members decided to come along for the ride and before we knew it we had a posse going. Theora, UB, Tuufless, Pilfer, and myself ended up going down there. On our way we figured we'd see if the NM that drops Minstrel's Coat was up. Sure enough it was and after killing it, UB had himself a Minstrel's coat without any work! As if that wasn't enough, we ended up getting his test after a few mobs. We went down to see if another NM was up and managed to kill something named Zogg or Zurg or something, I can't remember his name. He didn't however drop anything ;.;. Afterwards Tuuf mentioned he wanted an Assault Jerkin so we all headed to Onzozo. There were only 2 people there camping Ose and they were AFK most of the time. However after 3 hours or so nothing popped so we decided to call it a night. It was a lot of fun though, I really miss doing things like that with my LS. It's such a pity that most of the members have either quit game or have moved onto other endgame linkshells. I really miss my friends, /sigh.

In other news, we did 2 Gods yesterday in Sky, Suzaku and Seiryu. Both went pretty smoothly. I'm still laughing at the fact that our resident PLD, Raikoh, literally dies at the begining of EVERY fight we do. Doesn't matter what or where it is, he seems to die...>_>. If you're reading this Raikoh I still <3 j00, don't worry! I just find it funny. Anyway, both gods didn't drop too much good stuff. Afterwards I just did some Campaign and played Lost Odyssey. Also, Monday night we did an Omega run. We had about 11-12 people total and it went pretty well. It was really choppy in places but we pulled it together and got the win. We only got Homam head and feet though which is a let down. Head was free lot and Kiana won that. Feet went to Sclera who had them on his list. I'm pretty sure most of the LS has Homam head and feet so I would really like to see some other pieces drop. I of course already have the full set, but I still love doing Omega. I just wish he would drop some new pieces here. I have no interest in Nashira gear obviously, but we have almost 2 full Ultima sets too so I'd like to get that going sometime, maybe once we have a few more members.

Hello again! Keeping this thing updated when you have school and other activities going on is really hard! I'm sorry for the lack of posts, I just haven't really had time to do this. Anyway, let's see here what's going on. Top news of the day is my MNK is now 9300 to level 73! /hurray! Bad news is I do not have Destroyers or Shura Togi yet! /sad! The Togi doesn't upset me much, I have the Abjuration, just not the gil to get the cursed piece. Plus, I have many other things to use, and that piece isn't that great for me, seeing how I have no major accuracy issues. The Destroyers on the other hand are a must have. In the past few months I've gone through around 120 Kindred seals, and have gotten 0 Destroyers. I've gotten 4 Fuma Kyahan which is kind of odd. At one point I had one on me, one I gave to Sao, one on AH, and one in the delivery box. @_@ Eventually I sold all but mine and Sao's. The Destroyers just don't seem to want to drop for me which is lame, but I guess I'll just have to keep trying. MNK has been really fun to level and I got Asuran Fists in no time at all thanks to Kitsume, Theora, and Ultrablue helping me out with skillup parties. Then Omoi had her posse of 4 come out to kill my Asuran Fists NM, (which included Ringthree, Hellzfury, Izman, and herself of course). So thanks to all of them for helping me with that as well <3. It should be noted that Hellzfury just got his MNK to 75 too so Congrats~! Here's a picture of my MNKness:

Now on to other issues. Have a lot of schoolwork so I haven't been on TOO much lately. Also got an Xbox 360 for christmas and $500 for birthday so between the two, I've managed to find some other diversions! I got a few games with my Xbox, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Call of Duty 4, and it came with Marval Alliance/Forza Motor Sport 2. I think the one that has taken most of my freetime lately is Call of Duty 4. Playing that on Xbox pwns! You get to "level up" and get new abilities as well as new weapons which is awesome. The only problem with that online that I've noticed so far is the stupid voice chat. 90% of the time, it's just a bunch of idiots screaming spams at each other about pwning. /sigh I guess that should be expected. I also got a PSP and Final Fantasy Tactics as well as Silent Hill Origins. I wasn't sure if I should get a PSP but after talking to some people who have them I decided to. Mostly because I wanted an MP3 player so I can stop carrying my CD player around, (I really wanted the MP3 player for my internship I have going on this semester on campus). Anyway enough about school~. Sky has been pretty slow lately. Omoi has changed Thursdays to Sea which is a nice break. I think a majority of Sky members have a lot of the sky stuff which is why she cut back on 3 runs a week and pushed it to two. I think it was a wise choice. Sea on the other hand is very different and awkward! We haven't seen any major drops come out of it yet, but hopefully we will soon. Some other news worth noting is that my Limbus LS has become rather small lately. Enriquez has decided to finally quit the game (or at least let his friend play) and has since passed the leadership duties on to Fishura, Sclera, and myself. I don't really mind. Katoke has been helping too lately which really is a big help. People tend to listen so lets hope this works out. We've just finished an Omega and an Ultima set and are slowly working on another Omega and Ultima too. It's almost time to start to get more members again which is not always fun. It's hard to find reliable people to play with. That is one thing that Omoi has going for her is that her LS is really reliable, so kudo's to her.

I guess that's about all I got so far. I have Sea and Limbus tonight so it should be a fun night. I'm hoping to get MNK to 73 before I have to go to sea, but that's doubt it will happen, seeing as I'm still seeking. Anyway, I will try to keep the posts updated more often, but I'm busy so if anyone is still reading this and see's that I haven't updated, and actually WANTS me to update, then please send me a /tell in game or post a comment telling me to update lol. Well hellooooo there people! I haven't posted in a while. Not to say that a lot hasn't happened, just that I haven't been too motivated to do so. However tonight a fellow Limbus LS member inquired into my blog so I finally decided to post a new one now that I know at least one person still reads it! Hmm, where to start. Well today instead of sky, we decided to split the LS up and have half do O-Hat runs while another select group does ZM16. I was with the group that ZM16 so it went REALLY smoothly. Last time we tried this on Tuesday, we wiped around 5-6 times! I guess we just didn't have the jobs for it that day. Today however it went by so fast. By the time I popped my SAM 2hr, it was nearly dead. I didn't even get to finish self-skillchaining ;;. I'm pumped with having it over though finally. Started this game when it first came out in the US for PC and am just NOW finishing ZM! Well it's about time and seeing how I've already done Bahamut V1 already, I'm all set to do Apocalypse Nigh! I'm excited to do that in the future, should be a lot of fun. It seems on Sunday we will take some more people through the ZM16 mission seeing as how only one group finished today. I'm glad to say though that the O-Hats went very nicely and Congrats to whoever got them! I think they did 5 runs total. All in all a very good day for me! I even got an A on one of my midterms today! Woohoo!

Another thing that I've managed to finally finish recently is my Sky God Gear setup! Thanks to Vs. I finally have 5/5 God gear for my NIN/SAM and soon to be MNK! Also, I'm now 3/3 on Hecatomb, 3/3 on Shura (Hands don't count!) and even have some extra wyrmal, martial, and earthen abjurations thrown in! Sky is officially finished with as far as collecting goes. I'm obviously not going to stop going, this LS is the best. I love the members and really love getting paid every week for events! It's keeping me afloat! I need all the money I can get my hands on atm. Firstly, I have a ton of abjurations to go through. Secondly, 60k a week really pwns your wallet after a while so it helps pay for my Limbus runs. Also, my Limbus LS has been rather small lately so we're hopefully getting more members here soon. It's nowhere near dead, just a little light on people. Also, for Dynamis, my LS has split up. I'm not exactly sure what happened but there was some drama with some of the JP players and our Leader Lostman. I know he hasn't been coming too much but he has a life now, it's alright lol. Well after much turmoil the members are split. We have made ExplorerIII and have taken around 14-15 members with us. This is the "Official Explorer" so we have the main members with us. Thanks to Piwache for remaking it! Hopefully we will get some new members for this LS as well. If anyone reading this is interested and on Odin, send me a /tell on game and we'll talk it over! ^^v

Some othe major news is how fast my MNK is going up the levels! I'm currently 3500exp to level 60 and I hope to at least get 60 tonight. I'm seeking party as I write this so wish me luck! I've already finished my 5/5 AF quests so thats a plus. Hmm what else has happened. I managed to get another Homam piece as well. so now I'm 4/5 on Homam, all I need now is the hands. I really hope we get some more members so we can stay popping out Omega/Ultima's soon. Well that's about all I have to report at the moment. I'll try not to wait so long for new posts, I'm sorry I haven't done it in a while. I didn't think people still read this blog! Anyway, talk to you guys later~!

Where to start. Well recently I've been doing a bunch of random things from Besieged to Salvage. I stopped doing besieged a while ago because it was just getting too laggy and boring, but with recent additions to the exp/isp reward as well as items, it has become fun again. I've done a bunch of them and love the new rewards. Furthermore with the addition of "mini bosses" it's become even cooler. I saw this guy while I was running from some mobs:

That thing was huge. I didn't see it go under 97% that run but it was amazing to see something like that running around. I hope they can keep the excitement going with more additions to besieged, which makes it more fun. I've also been wanting to level my MNK recently. I had it in a static party with Sao and Shel but with their ASU homework workloads, its just not possible to party anymore so I decided to leave the static. They don't really care anyway, Sao was leveling SAM because she could and Shel only really plays FFXI for something to do with us. My only problem was that if I was going to level MNK again I'd need a certain item. This is the only item that I've never had and that I've always wanted, but didn't want to pay the crazy price that people were asking for it. This item is of course Ochiudo's Kote. Way back when I first leveled SAM I used one for a day and was amazed at how awesome it was back when SAM was in the 30's. Unfortunately I had to give it back and never saw another one again. When I first used it, it sold on the AH for around 2mil! That sucked some big moogle ass. Also it was so heavily camped and had such a crappy drop rate that it was pointless to even camp it. A year or so after SE decided to make it Rare/Ex so the Gil sellers stopped camping it. However the real players never left. It not only is just heavily camped, but the drop rate is one of the worse drop rates I've ever seen. Well flash forward to today. I decided I was just going to buy it. I got SAM and NIN both to 75 and never used it, but for MNK I felt it was just...needed, ya know? So I spent 800k on it and voila I finally have one:

I've gotten MNK from 32-38 in 2-3 days and it's been a blast. The other day Omoi and I made a PT together and it was amazing. She got from 34 to 37 and I went from 36-38. It was an amazing party and we had a lot of fun. Also, is it just me or does Omoi look like a personal fitness trainer:

I dunno, maybe it's just me >_>.

Also I helped Ringthree out with one of Vs. Salvage runs. I've only done one other run before, (which was also with Vs. and we lost), but they needed an extra NIN so I said I'd help out:

It was really fun, although we lost again. I just dunno if I can justify doing the runs on a regular basis. You need to do assaults to build up points to spend on Salvage. Also, to get the major gear you need 3 items that drop from Salvage. THEN you need to trade in certain materials with the 3 items to get the item you want. Furthermore the items you need are usually insanely expensive. For example I know one of them requires 12 O Ingots. I dunno about you guys, but I'm deadass broke. Anyway, it was fun to do but I dunno, I'm still thinking about it. Ring said that I'm welcome to come anytime so I think I may try out a few more runs and see if I really want to do it. I have enough stuff to worry about with endgame activities.

Speaking of endgame activities, there has been some major drama with mine as of late. My Limbus LS and Dynamis LS are rather stagnant. Kitsume has decided to finally "quit" and in doing so has really almost destroyed these two LS. I'm not judging her, if its her time to leave then thats fine. I just dunno about other people. There have been runs in Dynamis where people have refused to go because Kitsume wasn't there. Now she doesn't "own" the LS, but is one of the oldest members and knows it inside out. We can do things without her, but some Japanese players refuse to. There seems to be a control issue in the LS as well with the majority of the members being either Japanese or German. It's kind of odd to be the minority and to be English c.c. Not that theres much I want from Dynamis anymore or if I can even attend the runs because of classes. Also my Limbus LS has and looks like is slowly dieing. Kitsume WAS a leader in the LS along with Enriquez who tried to assure everyone that we'd go on without her until everyone has their Homam/Nashira requests. While I appreciate his words, I just do not believe him. I knew that as soon as Kitsume quit, other players would stop coming and my thoughts were verified when Km posted that he wasn't going to attend anymore. I really don't like people when they pull things like this. The last few runs, we have had about 6 people. That's it. It's very sad, but I dunno how much longer the LS will go on. I just hope that we can still get some of the newer members some gear before it finally dies.

On a completely side note, I have to rant about something else! So what's the deal with people not passing on items at events. I mean cmon people! Nothing is more frustrating that killing a God/Boss/Etc and sitting around for 5-10min because people go afk or just sit there and pass/lot on things when they shouldn't. I've seen items go to wrong people and items lost because of people doing this. Is it that hard to pass/lot on items when they drop? The answer is no. For my Dynamis LS we have a rule, that if you do not pass on an item and you get it even though you didn't want it, you lose points. People tend to pay attention a lot more when you have these rules in place. I just can't tolerate people when they don't pass an item. If you're dead or have to go afk or something at that EXACT moment, then so be it, but most of the time, it's not the case. If I can find time to pass/lot on items when I'm tanking on NIN and trying to kite things or do backflips or something, then so can you people! Dx

Anyway, endrant~ I will leave you all now with those final thoughts!

This should be interesting but I'm wondering if it will be Female only and maybe have another Male job? They've only shown screenshots of the Females and I can't see a Galka in AF or whatever like that prancing around. I think it was Final Fantasy Tactics maybe that had a male and female job? If not, maybe it was FF5. I don't remember, but I think that would be kinda neat to see. I mean can you really imagaine a Galka or Elvaan male dancing around? Neither can I.

Burnt Out

Well where should I start. I guess I'll start with the update. As most people already know, the update apparently screwed up the 2-handed weapon DMG a great deal. Namely meaning that SAM, DRG, DRK, etc are doing much more damage then they should I guess? I dunno first hand because I haven't played any of those jobs since before the update came out. I haven't even had a chance to do the new ToA missions yet either. Lately I just feel bleh. This past summer I basically devoted myself solely to Sky and Limbus because I wanted to get as much of those in as I could before classes started Sept 4th. Honestly I'm just burnt out. I go NIN to both events nearly 24/7 99% of the time so I can say for a fact that I am really not liking NIN atm. At the time that I'm writing this blog, I can say I wish I never have leveled it in the first place. Yeah it was fun at first but now its just so boring. Especially since the update because NIN can't hold hate worth poo. It was hard enough holding hate without this 2-handed buff but now it's like why try unless you're getting SATA'd properly. I miss my other jobs too. I haven't been on SAM since a short merit party I did a few weeks ago to get it a buffer as well as a merit. It was a blast, I totally forgot how fun and how much damage I could do. It was a normal party setup in Halvung and we were fighting trolls. As for DRG, the last time I got on it was for one day in sky when we were just doing Diorite farming and I actually got to come as a non-NIN job. That was ok for a while, I realize that I have some really awesome DRG gear, it's just a shame that I'm never on the job anymore. Hence my disgust for NIN currently. Anyway, end-rant.

On the other side of the spectrum, I've been doing some heavy THF leveling when I'm not occupied on NIN. I am currently around 1800 exp to level 68 and I am pumped! It's just a pity that I have to seek for a few hours before I actually get any invites Dx. Oh well, I beat Chrono Trigger over the last few days and started Chrono Cross again so those keep me occupied while I'm seeking XD.

The above image was from a party I was in at Caedarva Mire. I've never camped at this spot or exped off these mobs but it was pretty fun. We went through the Nyzul Isle staging point and came out in the wrong spot, but we decided to stay anyway. There are about 5-6 Shade mobs here with a short spawn time so it wasn't that bad. They are pretty harmless although annoying when they take your TP on a regular basis. Another thing about THF that confuses me is the lack of Skillchains. I dunno if it's just because I'm a post-ToA THF, but I haven't actually been in a skillchain since like level...40? I always solo now, as does everyone else. I find that strange, but I guess it's just how parties work now. Not that I'm really complaining, but I just though it was rather strange. I am very eager to get THF to 75 and be done with it. I like the job overall, but I'm really only leveling it because I have all the gear for it (Homam+Hecatomb). Next up on the agenda is my MNK, which I have a static with Sheldan and Saoirse. So that has been going pretty well, but with the new semester starting we haven't been able to exp with that lately. Hopefully once the semester is underway more we will be able to go on with our static. I'm eager for my classes to start as well. I'm not sure how much time I'll have devoted to endgame once I start, but it should be ok. Although if I can't go to Sky/Limbus some days thats fine with me; my NIN could use the break.

I Still Live!

I know it's been a while since my last post. Honestly I dunno anyone who even reads my blog but I have some news! Where to start, lets see. Most recent news is that I have finally gotten a pair of Byakko's Haidate. I'm not sure on the ratio of kills to drops we're at but its very lame. Luckily I was up first for them and they finally dropped so /hurray!

That brings my God Gear total to: 3/5. All that's left to complete it is Genbu's Kabuto and Kirin's Osode. Both of which shouldn't take too long to get considering we do gods almost every sky run and we've been really pushing out Kirin spawns. We've even gotten 3 Osode's from the last 5 Kirin's or so. It's great to see them drop and go to people that have great use for them like Ringthree, Glacian, and Rygar. The Kabuto is good for tanking I guess, I really don't place much emphasis on stats but the VIT+15 seems sexy enough for me. On a side note, I've also gotten 3/3 on my Hecatomb gear from sky for my DRG. So far I've earned enough gil to purchase the cursed items for my Gloves and Body. I still have the Feet Abj in my storage, but I'm not in a rush to trade it in seeing as how they aren't TOO much better than Rutters Sabatons atm. Also, I'm debating if I want to keep earning gil to fund for my Shura Togi. I got the D Body Abj ages ago back when I did Sky with Explorer and have yet to find a reason to pay the outrageous pricetag of ~1mil for that piece. I just don't need it for SAM or NIN atm. However with my static (Sheldan COR & Saoirse SAM & Me MNK) I think I should think about spending the gil to get it. It seems great for MNK. Of course mine is only 22 atm but the price keeps going down too. I guess I'll just wait and see how far it goes down. After earning a 100 byne bill from last Saturday's dynamis run, that brings my total to around 1,160,000gil. I'm really hesitant to spend the money so I think I'll just wait until I get to 1.5mil. That way I still have a hefty amount to plunge into Limbus and Dynamis. The money we earn from Sky is great as well, it keeps me afloat.

Some other stuff that has happened within the last few months is also worth mentioning. Think it was a month ago, but some LS mates and myself were just chilling out in the LS not doing much. Tuufless logged on as he usually does every other week or so (his playing time has severly taken a blow :P) and we decided to go farm some Sea organs for our gorgets. So Tuuf, Sao and myself went out and started killing things. Eventually Seraph also logged on and joined us. Things went REALLY well, we had awesome drops. Sao only needs 2 Hpemde organs and a Yovra left. I need 5 Aerns and a yovra as well. Anyway, whilst doing that, a friend of Tuuf's msged him telling him about an upcoming Bahamut run that they were planning. They had room for a few more people so Tuuf, Seraph and I ran off to join them. Sao decided to go to bed as it was already late. There were about 15-18 of us that went and boy was it awesome. I never thought I'd be doing the Bahamut fight but it was amazing! He was huge! I couldn't believe how big he was. He took some work too. Every 10% or so he does Mega Flare then around his last 10-20% he does Giga Flare I do believe. Well we all stuck in there and towards then end he managed to wipe almost all of the alliance except a few of us. Namely Seraph and I were the only ones meleeing him at the end. He had around 1-2% HP left and I SATA+WS him but before it could go off, a SMN's Leviathan managed to kill him. I was kinda bummed because I would have gotten the killing blow XD but it was alright because Seraph and I were some of the last left alive and man was it exciting. We got some badass titles: Conquerer of Fate. Unfortunately I can't go on the next Bahamut fight because I haven't beaten the Zilart missions yet. I'm still on Ark Angels/Divine Might. I really want to finish them so I can get my earring.

Hmm what else has happened. Most of the summer I've been doing Sky/Limbus/Dynamis hardcore a lot. Our Limbus LS has suffered some setbacks and we are short members. Hopefully we can get some more coming in and start doing Omega/Ultima again to get people gear. If anyone is interested in joining our Limbus LS: ShutUpAndDance, then please let me know or you can msg Kitsume or Enriquez on game. We're on the Odin server btw :P. Other than that, I've also been leveling my THF pretty hardcore. It's currently at Lv 66. I'd like to finish it, but I've been really busy lately as well. Hopefully I can finish it sometime soon before I really get going on my MNK.

Anyway, that's all the major things I can think of that has happened. We are also slowly doing CoP missions to catch up other members of my LS. We just beat 2-5 which was Riverne Site A01. It went really well so we will do some more in the future. Congrats to Ararith on that victory as well! XD

Wings of the Goddess

Surprise to some, but not to others, SE has decided to give us a glimpse of the new Expansion pack, Wings of the Goddess. There is a trailer up at the official playonline site and I encourage you all to check it out. Based on what you can see, it could be that they are going to try and tell us exactly what happened back in the Great War. The buildings and ruins of various areas are restored and it looks like a time during a war. This will be cool but I wonder how they are going to do it? Personally I think they might have some kind of time travel system that will allow us to go back into these areas as they once used to be and see for ourselves what it was like and experience the story. I think that would be kind of cool, but like I said, it's all speculation. So far with a vague release date of "Winter 07" this might be a nice new update. The ToAU was a nice diversion but I would like to get back to the real story, as would Tuufless. Anyway, can't wait till it comes out, I'm looking forward to it! (As well as the ToAU wrap up involving Odin and Alexander XD~)

Well I must say it's been a while since I last posted. Muwahaha! First of all, I had a decent Christmas I suppose. The 2 week break from FFXI was welcome, thats for sure. Now that I'm back though, I feel better. I liked the brief break, but its nice to be back and doing things again. The LS seems silent as of late. Don't know where people are but oh well, guess they're taking breaks too. Another cool thing is Tuufie is back! I'm sure everyone knows who he is. One popular little tarutaru! As for me, there are a number of things I've been up to. First of all, I've gotten NIN to 74 and WAR is currently 69.I have been doing a lot of Limbus lately as well. The ceremony was awesome! The GM was really nice and polite and I'm glad to have experienced a Vana'Diel wedding XD. I also reserved the hostel in Aht Urghan afterwards for a wedding party. It was fun too, we had fireworks, food, costumes, and even an NPC who allowed us to listen to the various music found throughout all of FFXI (expansions included!). It was really cool and I had a wonderful time. I also have to thank Chummy for doing a wonderful job with putting it together. He's a great guy and friend who really pulled through this time despite his constant screwups! That crazy Elvaan~ To all those who attended, I thank you, it meant a lot that you guys took time out of your day to come to our wedding!

Another amazing thing that happened recently is we finally beat CoP last night! /hurray! We've been waiting for this a LONG time. It all started with a static of Saoirse, Chummy, Tuufless, Seraph, Tumble, and myself. There were numerous problems conflicts but it was fun. Flash forward months and Tumble went on without us, Tuuf quit, and Seraph finished CoP with his other friends. All that was left was Sao, Chum and I. We were at a loss of what to do, but once Tuuf came back we decided to finish it up! We did mission 8-2 through 8-4 in about 2 days, we were pumped. Last night we decided we might as well try Promathia with our odd setup which was BLM BLM SAM NIN WHM RDM. Well the fight was fun as hell! Promathia is really a pushover when you consider all the crap you have to do in CoP to get this far. But after beating him we got to see some of the coolest looking cutscenes in the game as well as some awesome areas. Here are some screenshots:

The Day Has Finally Arrived...

Well it's finally that time now. I've been thinking about this moment for a long time and I have to say I'm pretty excited. Now now, before any of you jump the gun, I'm not talking about quitting FF11 >_>. Hardly. In fact I am speaking of something entirely new. Final Fantasy 12 has just been released o_o. Oh that's right >_>. All the hype, the talking, everything that has mentioned this game will be put to the test. I have class in a few, but I will have it by the time I get home. I am very pumped o_o. As a result of FF12 coming out, I doubt I will be on FF11 much for a bit. Anyone who gets FF12 will probably say the same thing. On a side note, I've also managed to pick up a copy of the recently released Phantasy Star Universe. Wow. Such a different it is from FF11. It's so strange in comparison. Not only are the visuals all anime-esque, but the whole game feel is crazy. It's a very unstable game in comparison! It's been fun though, and I think I'll play out the rest of my month on it then cancel my subscription. Anywho, it's time for me to go to my 2D Design class ewwwww. Also have to meet with the internship people and do my resume so that will be really fun, knowing FF12 is at home c_c.

Ok, so it has been a while since I last posted a lengthy post, but to let everyone know, I am in fact ok o_o/. I don't know if anyone still reads this but I might as well let people know what has been going on. First and foremost, I have been leveling COR quite a bit as of late. At first I found the job boring as hell and just struggling to stay with it. This all changed however once you get late 30's; at least for me it did. My ranged shots started hitting more and I found myself loving this strange BRD-RNG hybrid. There have been a few parties who when they invite me, they ask the simple question: "Are you good and what can you do?" Now that's a very interesting question. My friend Pilfer, who also has been leveling PUP, has gotten this question as well. The simple answer is: "Yes, we have our strengths and weaknesses as any other job." I can't speak much for PUP because I have not played it past level 6 personally, but as for COR, I think it's a great job. On the one hand, I'm like a gimpy RNG / gimpy BRD. However, I'm not as gimpy as you may think. The whole idea of lucky rolls adds a new aspect to partying. For example: When I use Fighter's Roll and Rogue's Roll, the party gets the benefits of Double-Attack as well as Critical Hit Up. This is awesome because I found myself as well as the WAR in my party last night, hitting 3 times or more and each hit landing a critical ^^! Also, at my current level (54, almost 55) I rarely miss. I have an accuracy rating of like 89-93% which I think is quite nice for a gimpy RNG. I'm also doing some great dmg with my ranged. I do normally anywhere around 40-120dmg per hit. Most of the time its 60ish. However the downside is my weapon skills suck. I don't just mean like 100dmg only, I mean suck HARDCORE. I do like 30-70dmg most of the time with a WS, that's IF I don't miss. So now you see where the gimpy RNGness comes in. Also, since I'm not really used to timing rolls, I end up giving the wrong people the wrong rolls sometimes. I'm getting better, but with the recast for rolling being 1min, it's slightly annoying. However, Quick Draw is an awesome ability. It's like an instant 166dmg. Anyway, that's the recent update on what I've been leveling lately. I hope to get 60 by next week ^^v.

Some other recent happenings would include me being dead ass broke. About 2 weeks ago Saoirse helped my finally purchase my own Barona Corazza! Took me forever, but now with its new price around 3mil, I finally got one. After that, I was around 3,000 gil for a while <_< randomly going up to 100k and back down to 7k. That changed though once I started selling everything I didn't need as well as getting a 100 Byne Bill from dynamis last night! I seem to be getting back on track with my cashflow, so that's always a plus. The linkshell has been rather quiet. I've been hanging out with Ararith a lot lately, shes so cool XD. The LS has also done a subligar run and that was pretty fun. We're going to start doing CoP missions again next month for Ararith.

Well not too much to report. I've managed to get WAR to 57 so far, and I finally understand what my friend Aurelius was talking about when he said he tanked in a lot of his parties because WAR pulls a LOT of hate. I dunno if I should use Sole Sushi or not; if I do, then I manage to get too much hate XD. Also managed to get my last piece of AF for WAR the other night. Shortly after that we all went to do Saoirse's last MNK AF piece. So now both Sao and I are 5/5 on our new sets of AF for WAR and MNK ^^v. Hmm. I got 64 on NIN as well. Sao, Ara, and I have been leveling the last few days and it's been a lot of fun. I think I'm getting better tanking now. I was impressed that I could keep hate most of the time from Sao (shes a BLM btw) without having a THF or SATA in the party. I've also noticed that I don't get interrupted very much lately. I casted like 7-8 Utsusemi: Ichi's that went off even after I got slapped in the face by a Crab XD. Also I can finally use the Arhat's set which adds a good amount of Enmity which is always welcome for NIN.

Dynamis has been fun too. We did Bastok again on Saturday and Saoirse managed to get her MNK & THF AF! We didn't get the Clear, but it didn't really matter. It wasn't anyones fault, we just weren't paying attention to the time till the last minute. I made around 280k off it too so thats a plus. The dynamis before that, I also got a 100 Byne Bill. I can't find anyone to sell it to, but when I do, I think I'm going to spend the cash on a new Mezraq or maybe get my hands on a Barone Corazza finally. They both are dropping in price so thats cool.

Last night I also finally had enough ISP to get the Walahra Turban. Didn't take to long trading the coins, so that was good! We've been doing a lot of merit parties too. I don't remember how many merits I've made in the last few days but I think it was around 9 or more. The most recent updates I've done is Empathy twice and I also put one into Spirit Link. I figure since I got Empathy, I'll be using it more so it would be nice to merit some time out of it.

Chummy should be back soon too! Thank god, we missed him so much <3. Not sure what we're going to do about CoP now though. Tuufless has quit, and Seraph has gone on with another group, so that leaves Sao, Chum and I. I think I'll ask Lostman or Thaz if they could help us clear the remaining missions. I'd like to get the rings but I think I just want to get CoP done because it's been such a dramatic hassle. It's cool and all but it's such a pain to plan.

I also must say that I am a proud father of mah new baby Chocobo: Kiku Bleu! He's so cute, i love the way he wiggles his butt at you when you look at him lovingly <3. The new chocobo update is really fun and interesting. I can't wait till I'm wandering around outside and a blue or black chocobo passes me. That will be just so cool ^^. Well I've been gone for quite a bit! Went home for two weeks, hung out with friends/family, and managed to buy a few new games~. I bought Steambot Chronicles, Summon Night, and Dirge of Cerberus. Needless to say those have kept me a little busy :3. Now that I'm back let's see what there is to report.

First of all one thing I just got is my Saotome Domaru! 4/5 on SAM AF2 now thanks to Saoirse for logging on my character and doing Dynamis for me! XD I got my WAR to lvl 53, almost 54. Hmm, what else. Last night, I did a LS party and managed to get 2 more merits. Think I'll save for Empathy, looks pretty good for mah DRG~. Rather bored right now, not sure what I'm going to do. Chocobo update just came out and that looks cools, hope I get a blue one!

Sky is on hold atm, and doing Dynamis-Beac on Wed I do believe. Haven't been to Limbus in quite a while. Looks like we have 8-1 on Wed too, with Willrikers group, so hopefully that goes well. We miss Chummy! He needs to get his ass back here! >:E. On a further note, my good friend Tuufers has finally decided to leave the game T_T. Let us hope he realizes the error of his ways and comes back to us later on XD. Until then, good luck to him!

You might be wondering why the title of the post is emo. o_o well I'll tell you. Been feeling rather poopy lately, not quite sure the reason it started. Recently on game I've been getting a little bored. I really don't have any good friends that I do anything with anymore. Most have quit the game or have gone on to "Endgame". Been helping a LOT of people out lately. Not only the Linkshell but also random people who happen to need help. I've done avatar runs, CoP missions, item quests, AF quests, coffer hunts, etc. Some of it has been quite fun but it's getting old really fast. I'm not the type of person to down a person who needs help without giving a decent response but I'm almost at the point where I just want to say no and end it Dx. Saoirse and I were talking about the game and the people on it and we've come to a conclusion. People just don't really care about other people unless it serves their purpose o_O. Granted we aren't speaking about ALL of the players but certainly a lot of them. I've noticed more and more that you help people oh so much before they finally run out of things you can help them with and they desert you.

On a side note as an example: Saoirse helps people whenever she can. Linkshell or other people shes always quick to say "Sure, watcha need?". Well I must say she is fed up with people on this game ><. Shes at the point where she created a new character on another server and is having more fun lvling that noobie then she is sitting in her own Linkshell. I don't really blame her though she helps out a lot and when she needs something, no one offers. I'm trying to think of the last major thing we did as a LS and I can't think of anything. Whenever she needs help she has to rely on friends outside of the LS to help her and thats just not right ><. I feel bad talking about this wondering if some of these people will read it but I need to get it off my chest. I was thinking about my "friends" I used to have. I used to just hang out with Woulfgang and Fuzen but they are no longer around. Woulf has retired her character and Fuzen went MIA for a while and is now back but it's just not the same with us. I think Chummy is the only person besides Sao that I hang out with. I miss teh Chummers, he will be back soon hopefully ><. As for Hiro and Shel I'm at a lost of words. Hiro has been visiting his sister and even hanging out with Shel which is great; but it feels like they ditched Sao and I. We had all these CoP missions planned out pretty much for Hiro, Shel and Ararith and Ara is the only one that showed up. Granted we wanted to do all the LS that needed it, not just those three, but its because of those three we got the idea. (More on our CoP run in a few).

Furthermore I was reading Tuuf's recent blog post and it got me upset. He talks about how fun static parties are and how great it is to level with friends... What the hell are we? We've pted many times in the past and even had a CoP static. He's never said such words about us. He's been hanging out on his old LS which is fine but it feels weird with him now. I know that I'm ranting now but I need to get this off my chest D:

Anyway, enough about the Emo Moment, let me tell you the good news! First of all we've done numerous Dynamis runs in the past since Sao joined and shes gotten them cleared: Jeuno and Windurst. We did Bastok the other day and I have to say that I was in one of the most pissed moods afterwards. Well Kitsume is a great puller and a great player but he was pulling weird all night. We kept getting he Warning you only have "10" minutes left, etc. Normally we never have that problem. Well it was the last hour or half hour and he still hadn't pulled the boss. I was worried because it would be another month before we did Bastok again at least and I wanted Sao to get the clear. Well when he did finally pull the mob we had about 1min to kill it. We were kicked from the area when the mob was at 16% -_- Sao didn't get clear. I was fuming! ><. Hopefully we do it again sometime soon so she can get it. Another thing that happened is we did Promyvion-Holla. Well we farmed anima for a goo 8-10 people and when the night was scheduled to do it, 3 showed up. I know people have lives and all that but 3 people? We needed a 6th and it was a good hour or so before Astunen finally got on and came with us. I was dissapointed in the turnout but oh well. We finally got out there and after an hour of climbing we got to the top. I was worried about the fight since this was some of their first times. I must say we did AWESOME! It went even better then Sao's and I when we did it back when. We owned that thing like nobodies business XD Also a LS mate finally got access to Lufaise Meadows! Congrats Theora >:D. Currently we have Promyvion-Dem scheduled for Thursday and hopefully Ararith will be the next one to get access to the meadows.

Some other stuff that has happened would be I've gotten WAR to lvl 50 and started the AF quests. I've gotten the boots and gloves thus far, next is a Crawlers Nest Coffer and Key. I've stopped lvling BLU for the moment. It's kind of annoying having to stop and learn spells every few levels. However I really like it :P. Last night also I was in a PT with Ksayyah and Saoirse and it was a burn PT in Caedeva Mire or however its spelled. We got a good 50k exp O_O. I can see why people like Burn parties but I wouldn't like that type all the time. Sao managed to finally get 75! Shes so happy, I'm so happy for her as well XD. I also managed to get my SAM 75 too! Funny thing is I forgot I had it set on Merit mode. When I lvled it switched to Merit and I have a 102 buffer >_>. Good news is I got 2 merits and am 500 to next merit! ^^/. Hmm what else has happenend. Oh! If you look at my links you will see a person named Arwenne. Shes great! She has reminded me of how much fun it was to be mid level and experiencing everything for the first time. Something I miss now that I'm a seasoned veteran. Anyway, I added her to my flist and we were talking. I asked her if she wanted a WP and she said sure so now Aniya is on Odin! XD We didn't end there however she also managed to get WPs for Saoirse, Ksayyah and myself! It's fun lvling on another server where you know no one and you're trying to survive. ^^ I do miss Odin...you might wonder why after all the stuff I said earlier but it's still home. Anyway, I'm eagerly awaiting the update to get done so I can see the new DRG merits >:D so Sayonora~

Kirin Captivator

Well first things first, this morning we did the Kirin fight. This being my first time, I was a little excited. Once we popped him however the excitement dimmed. He's not all that difficult. Explorer uses the Kiting technique and I must say that it works quite well. However it is frustrating as hell when you lose your TP because the mob won't stay still ><. If you don't know what the Kirin fight is (I'm sure most of you do) it is the God fight of all God fights. Once you have all 4 God pop items you can fight him. While fighting him he summons each of the other gods respectively, Genbu, Byakko, Seiyru, and Suzaku. As my friend Tuufless put it "They are about as tough as a Robber Crab this round." No kidding! They were incredibly easy in their weakend state.

As Lostman also said "He's so pretty ^^". In short, I thought Kirin was ok. We got crap drops so it seemed like a waste of time. Another sidenote that happened last 2 Dynamis was I managed to snag 2 pieces of WAR AF2! Next up for Explorer is Dynamis-Xarcabard on Wednesday. I don't really need anything else from there but it should be fun and lets hope I actually make some money this time m(_ _)m.

More recent news would be that I've thus far leveled my WAR to 46 ^^. I don't even have my AF yet and I'm starting to collect AF2 XD. WAR is really fun when you actually get a party invite. I enjoy the damage I do and I must say that Berserk+Aggressor is an ego boost XD. Not much else has been going on. I've gotten my BLU to lvl 19 but i'm focusing on WAR atm. We have plans to start Promyvion runs for LS members in TrueRune. Our first run will be on Thursday. Hopefully it goes smoothly and without incident. Anyway, that's all! Sayonara~

Nice Changes

Well it's been a week since I lasted posted, a good amount has happened. First of all I might say that I now have all 5/5 of the AF2 for DRG!!! I look so sexay XD:

^_^ So as you can see I'm quite happy at finally completing it. What was really awesome was on the same day I got my last AF2 for DRG, I also got the SAM AF2 Gloves! It was an awesome day. Next I'd like to complete my SAM AF2 which I have 3/5 on. Then hopefully start my NIN AF2, (for those who don't know, my NIN is lvl 62~).

I've also been leveling WAR in my sparetime and I'm currently Lv 44. Hopefully I'll take it all the way too but only time can tell. Last night I also had a great time with Sheldan. She's a Lv 73 BRD and she had all her items for her Opo Opo crown, except her Wyvern Skull. Now I've heard it was hard to kill these wyverns even though the drop isn't so rare. Anyway, Shel, Tuuf and I set out to Ifrit's Cauldron. We had in mind that Tuuf would tank it with his RDM, but once we got there we all decided to chip in. They only checked Tough, and since I was DRG, it was intimidated most of the time >:D. I did well tanking it, as it only hit me once or twice with its evil Fang Rush move. On our 2nd kill we got the skull! I'm happy to report that Shel has her Opo Opo Crown:

She was so happy, she made me a Knight of Shopo! (PS I don't quite know what that is or means, but I was happy to have the title~). We hung out with each other for a bit after and read up on the upcoming update. We are both so excited about the chocobo raising! We made plans to breed our Chocobos together once we got them raise up ^^. Another thing that happened last night was Tuuf and Kitsume helped me clear this evil Assault mission I was having problems with ><. It's called Excavation Duty and the point of it is you have 30min to destroy 5 walls. Well you only hit the Wall for 1-4 dmg and WS do around 15+. The secret is BLM need to cast their Choke, Rasp, Bio, etc constantly to dmg it the most. Well to make it short, we won with 3 min to spare ^^. I'm currently trying to get enough Assaults done so I can move my rank up to Superior Private.

On another note, I leveled my BLU to 14 last night in the Dunes. Now nobody has ever "really" liked the dunes, but now its damn near unbearable. There is a recent surge of new Gil Seller players and they have infested such areas as Crawlers Nest and Garlaige Citadel. Well why leave the dunes out of the loop eh? Sure enough there was numerous parties of Sellers wandering around. Furthermore, we had 2 of them in our PT. Now personally I don't like Gil Sellers, but I don't HATE them as much as most players (enough to scream at them on /shout and be in general very vulgar), but these two got on my nerves because the BLM only had Stone and the WHM only had Cure... So we didn't really get anywhere with the setup we had because there wasn't enough magic power. Luckily Saoirse came out and PLed our PT so I managed to get a few levels. In the end it was ok, but the Dunes are even worse then before now DX

Now this brings me to this morning. Last night I only managed to get 2 hours of sleep, IF that. I don't want to go into gross detail, but I was sick all night and throwing up T_T. I was pissed because I had my 2nd Sky run with Explorer at 9am. Luckily I woke up in time and made it. We camped Ulli for a bit but then left as more LS started showing up. Instead we went and killed Seiyru and Genbu. I almost got Seiyru's Kote as well as the W. Abj Hands. On my own stupidity I passed the hands -_-. Now they aren't the greatest, but it was more of a bragging right :D. Right now I'm contemplating going back to sleep or not. I'm not really tired, or maybe I'm "overtired" c_c. Anyways, thats all there is to report~

The Greatest Day Ever

Well now where should I start. Today has been amazing thus far. It started off with a Dynamis-Beaucedine run. For those who don't know, this is the Dynamis where the DRG Body AF2 drops. Now I've been in my Dynamis LS Explorer for a long time now, and never has this AF dropped. It has eluded me for a long time. I used to hear stories of how they would get 2-3 drops per run before I joined. Needless to say I'm the only DRG in the LS atm so reserving it isn't really neccessary but I'll be damned if it dropped and someone would have outlotted me so I reserved it >_>. Now here comes the amazing part. Not only did we get a DRG drop within the first hour of the run, we got a 2nd DRG drop about another hour in! Well since I got the first one, no one wanted the 2nd drop so unfortunately it was trashed. Well I'll let the picture tell you what it looks like:

I must say this is one of the coolest looking AF Bodies out there in my opinion. Now I thought this was already a great day because I finally got my hands on this piece of AF2. However, I also got my grubby little DRG paws on 11 pieces of Dynamis Currency :D. So that was around 330k in drops. I'm broke so that replenishes a little bit of cash for me!

I used to do {sky} runs back in the old days but I got tired of it and quit because I couldn't get any good things for DRG (the Hecatomb doesn't impress me much), but since then I've got SAM to 73 and NIN to 62. The God gear is amazing pieces but only 3 jobs usually use that gear which is SAM, NIN and MNK. Since I already have SAM at 73 and plan to have NIN there too, I was dreading the fact that I would have to return to {sky} to get those pieces of equipment. My biggest problem is that I don't want to have to deal with all that stupid drama that is usually associated with {sky} linkshells. Recently I've been wondering if maybe I could get into a Japanese Linkshell and that way the drama wouldn't be so close to home with seeing people I know and heard of, etc. Well I was talking to my Dynamis LS Leader, (btw I have a JP Dynamis LS for those who don't know) and he said this was ALSO a {sky} LS. o_o. Now at this point I thought my day couldn't get any better. Well he said that it's mostly JP only however there was one English member. He then asked if I was interested in which I told him a resounding {Yes, please}. So to top off my day I'll be going on {sky} runs with my Dynamis LS so I will be with people I know, trust, and respect. I'm having such a great day :D

Sea! Alright!

Ok! First things first! Sea: Complete! :D Finally our "static" has access to Sea. It was rather random but we finally managed to set a date to do Airship and stuck with it. Thanks to Tuuf for waking up at 4am to help us on the other side of the ocean~ As far as the actual Sea report goes, all I have to say is {Too Weak}. I hear all these horror stories of how hard and difficult it is, then I hear even worse ones that a PLD can't tank it. Well to that I say wrong! Seraphpdh did one hell of a job tanking Omege/Ultima. Not only did it go well, but we beat it with relative ease! Read Tuufless' blog for info on the actual Airship fight. After the fight we were all so excited and happy. Tuuf decided to go to lunch while the rest of us finished our cutscenes and prepared for the NMs and Tenzen fight. After our long time running around we took a break and Sao had to do some yardwork with her mom while the rest of us just chilled out. By the time we go underway to kill the NMs Tuuf was back so he decided to come along to help. His help was greatly appreciated however, there was also another party that was doing the same NMs we were. Normally any other day I'd gladly help them out but after the long day we had, I just wanted to get this all done and relax. Tuuf however offered our help and so we did just that and helped them beat all the NMs. It was nice helping each other out and all but this brought back memories of a previous CoP mishap. A while back during Riverne Site B#01 Tuuf organized a dual-LS run at it despite mixed feelings on the whole run. When we were getting ready to do the actual fight, Tuuf and his companions decided to split up the parties for optimized fighting ability. Well the problem was that none of our LS Static wanted to split, we wanted to do it as a LS with people we know and have fun with it. In the end however after drama we agreed reluctantly to splitting. Anyway, that ended horribly and it was a few weeks later that we actually beat B01 with our original LS Static. Now back to the Dual-Party run:
After the NMs were defeated we were all getting ready for Tenzen. Again Tuuf wanted to split us up for maximum fighting force. Now I respect the idea behind it but he should of learned from last time that we didn't want to split. Now there was major drama with members screaming back and forth, but what upset me the most is that no one backs Sao and I up when we have a problem with something. It always seems like Saoirse is being a bitch and I'm defending her because she's my gf. I am really sick of how people don't say what they are thinking. It's to the point where Sao and I don't even want to do things with people anymore. So after Sao and I caved in, Tuuf tried to organize the parties around... Well here is where it gets retarded. After ALL that drama, we ended up with the SAME EXACT STATIC pt -_-. @#&@%$*^ So I was in a foul mood, however I still wanted to get this done because Chummy delayed driving home a few days so we could get this done and I wasn't going to let the drama interfere with that.

So we went on to fight Tenzen. We lost. The problems were mostly the 3 Taru casting on us as well as Chummy and I not SCing correctly. So in the end we died. Well at this point is when one of the other parties players decided to go to bed. This left us in a very difficult spot. There were 6 people who needed the Tenzen win but it wasn't the most functional party. Tuuf sat this one out and we went in with PLD MNK SAM SAM BRD and Sao came as her 61 BLM to cure Seraph. Well after all our 2HRs and so forth we managed to own Tenzen. We were so happy to finally have this done and when the cutscenes were over, we were in Sea. ^^ It looks great, we plan to explore it tonight hopefully after Seraph gets out of Sky. Now this brings me to future CoP missions. I do not want to break the static, but I'm not going to organize anything either. Tuuf has made it clear that he has intentions of quitting the game, so this throws a wrench in CoP if he decides to go off on his own again when he feels he's done with the game. The static as it stands is Seraph, Chummy, Saoirse and I. If they want to do a mission I will gladly do it with them, I won't go off and beat CoP without them. So that is currently how it stands D: In the end, the Airship fight was nothing like the horror stories I've heard.

FFXI Boredom

Well where shall I start, it's been a while since I've posted on here so a lot has happened. Unlike most of the blogs I've read, I don't feel the need to spell every minor detail out for potential readers so I will go over briefly what has happened.

First of all, I must say E3 was awesome XD. Driving to LA went a lot smoother then I thought and we got there rather early, (took only 5hours to drive there). Once we got there we spent a good 1-2hrs looking for our hotel. We ended up driving through Chinatown like 6 times before we realized our hotel was IN Chinatown. So we get up to the front desk and find out that our hotel room was cancelled. Confused as we were, the front desk didn't seem to even care that it was cancelled. As we pressed them about this they basically just said "Well someone cancelled it." We told them it wasn't us, its not like other people can just cancel it. Whats worse is they weren't going to fix it -_-. Anyways after another hour of cussing and manager conversations they decided to give us the room for the night and figure the rest out the next day. So anyways we get to our room and unload, and decide we should drive over to the convention center now to get our badges. The E3 center was easy as hell to find, especially with all the video game posters all over the buildings XD. Once we got our badges we went back to the hotel and hung out till the next day. Then the real fun started. All the conferences were going on, the expo floor didn't open for another day so we got to see all these interviews and panels with developers. I'm very proud to say that I got to meet Hideo Kojima and Cliffy B~ Seeing them on the panel was amazing, and Gears of War and Metal Gear Solid 4 were my favorite games there I'm sure. After seeing other panels including Will Wrights, which was on Spore, we went home again. Funny thing is the hotel didn't bother us at all any time during the WHOLE week. We just kept renewing our keycard and we had a room >_>. We wondered if my friend was even being charged for it. To sum up my whole experience I'll close with a few select words. Nintendo Wii. Square Enix. Atlus USA. Booth Babes. Those were the best parts of the whole experience ^^.

Now on to FFXI. On my arrival back my friend was staying with me for 10 days so I really didn't get back to FFXI till he left. Anyways, upon my return I see that some stuff has changed. First of all I see that my friend Thazienne has gotten Sea access, so Congrats to him! ^^v. As for our progress through CoP, I'm not so excited. As some of you may know Tumble ditched us to do the Airship fight and even managed to complete the CoP story arc. Well that upset me greatly and if you read Tuufless' Bloggaru you will see a post he made that conveys our feelings on what he did. Which brings me back to Tuuf. I thought he felt the same way as I did until i read his newest post. You see he has also recently completed the Airship fight. However it was not with us as you may think. He went on and did it with some old friends instead. Now the thing is I didn't hear he did the fight without us until someone told me. Now when he finally told me, he said it was just a "test run". Recently he posted a new post on his Airship fight. I must say his definition of "test run" is a little different than mine. Failing twice and going on to do it once more seems more then a test. Also if his friends asked him out of the blue, why couldn't he do what I would have done and said "I'm sorries, I have a static, I can't ditch them." Honestly I don't really care anymore. I've learned a lot from playing this game. I've met a lot of people and friends on this game in my whole span of playing it and after seeing so much drama and ditching, I've had enough. I just don't care about people much anymore. After seeing Tuuf go on without us it makes me lose trust for all the people I know except my girlfriend Saoirse. I know that's kind of a harsh thing to say but it's how I am feeling. In the end people will do what is best for them, regardless of what others think. Now I know everyone always says "Well I'll still help you" but I'm tired of hearing that. How would the static feel if I did the airship without telling them and simply said "I'll still help you guys get it, don't worry." Also, Tumble confronted me and asked how I felt about Tuuf doing it without us. When I said I stopped caring, he got really upset because I gave him such a hard time and I didn't say one thing to Tuuf. Apparently Tumble has been lvling BRD "for us" this past month or so and feels that he has done it for nothing. I dunno anything about that because I honestly haven't talked to him in a while one on one. Anyway, I'm not expecting to have Sea for a long time if at all. If the "static" still wants to do it, I'm all for it. It's not like I'm going to just go do it if someone asks me ._.'

On a lighter note, I've gotten SAM AF2 Boots recently in Dynamis ^^. I've also lvled my THF to 36, almost capping it for a sub. I've been doing a lot of Besieged lately, even doing all 3 today ^^. I have Dynamis-Bastok tomorrow so hopefully I get lucky and get my DRG AF2 Pants finally. Wish me luck @_@. Also I will most likely be heading off to Cali to see Saoirse sooner than expected!~ XD hopefully in a week I'll be gone and cuddling with her to take my mind off teh FFXI Issues.~ I've also picked my classes for my fall semester so I should have my Associates in Game Design by January and then start my Bachelors. XD

Well I'm the last to finally update his blog about the new expansion ToA. Needless to say it's amazing. No longer is it so hard to do missions and get people together to do capped fights. ToA offers so much to players without them having to do anything intensely difficult. First off, there are 3 new jobs: Corsair, Blue Mage, and Puppetmaster. All 3 of which are fun and great new additions. So far my COR is 14, BLU is 10 and PUP 6. I'm going to level my BLU with Saoirse, Sheldan, Meryle, Gulite, and Ksayyah. Looks to be fun if we ever start leveling XD. We have all been busy and doing the new Assault missions. Assault reminds Ksay and I a lot of Final Fantasy Tactics missions. Save the agent, destroy the obstacles, clear the enemies, etc. Lots of fun so far although you're really limited as to only being able to do 3 assault runs a day. After your 3 passes wear off, you will get 1 each new day. I'm eager to do these missions to get the new Amir gear which is pretty nice and I like how it looks. ^^ Other then that a lot of people have just been sitting in the new city Aht Urghan which has basically become the new Jeuno. Very nice city, and very big. I hope to do more quests in the future and eagerly await the next update. Anyways that's all there is to report, see you guys later!

Thats right! We finally decided to fight this badboy again (4th time) and surprisingly we beat it. Let me start at the beginning. The day started with a Dynamis-Bastok run which didn't go according to plan. It seems another LS decided to do Bastok during our time slot so we were forced to choose another Dynamis to do. The thing i noticed however was by the time we were all ready and partied up to do Dynamis-Jeuno, the other LS was out of Bastok...we could of went back to it, but instead did Jeuno. -_- I have been waiting to do Bastok for a long time now, at least a few months, because I need my DRG AF pants there. Anyways, Jeuno went well, I made around 240k so all in all a decent run. Lots of AF drops and 3 100 bills!! @_@ That's right, rare do you see 3 drop. Chummy got his SAM AF Boots and Seraph got the Clear for Jeuno. I'm not sure what other ones he needs, but check his blog if you want, i think he has posted something on there; (Its over in my Linkies~).

On to better things! We originally had planned to do a Snoll Farm/Fight run tonight but Seraph chose to do Sky >_> so while he was in sky, Tuuf, Sao, Chummy and I went to Riverne Site #B01 to farm the Clusters that spawn there. They are VT-IT so it wasn't TOO bad. Luckily for me, since I've been lvling NIN lately, I came to tank. It was NIN SMN RDM BLM. It went pretty well and we came out with 11 Clusters adding to my 1 for a total of 12 clusters (or 6 Salts). We use 3 salts per fight, so we got an extra 3 in case we didn't beat it. Lucky for us we DID beat it :D. So now we have 3 extra clusters. Dunno what we will do with them, maybe sell, who knows. We then proceeded to run around watching cutscenes for the next 2hrs. Very nice ones I might add. If any of you haven't done much CoP, I highly suggest it. The story is awesome and the CS are well done and thought out. Best of all is now we are ready to do the dreaded Airship fights. These consist of fighting 5 Mammets, Omega weapon, and Ultima weapon. >_> Thats right people, Omega and Ultima DX. It's around a 30+min battle and you can't save or quit in between. If you die fighting the 3rd fight, you have to fight them all over again. First before we attempt them we need to farm up some chips in Pso`Xja. You take 3 Chips and that becomes 1 CCB Polymer. I hear we need 6 CCB Polymers -_-. Well Saoirse used her charms and managed to get 1 from her friend so now we only need 5! ^^b. Looks like we will be farming in Pso`Xja for a bit before we attempt to do the fight. I just hope we manage to at least get all our CCB Polymers before the expansion comes out. It would be nice to have Sea by then but I doubt it.

On another note, I got my NIN to lvl 59! /hurray! Almost 60~ It's been pretty fun and soon I will be partying with Saoirse and her 60 BLM and Ararith and her 60 DRG! <3 DRG-Girl. I told her we would party with her, and thats why we leveled, but she doesn't believe me XD. Muwahahaha! She's like my DRG Apprentice~ XD Anyways thats all tonight so until next time, stay clothed and be safe! o_o/

Heyo, just wanted to post out of boredom. I've almost completed Suikoden V and I must say that it is an amazing game. It's much better then 3 & 4. I think its better then 1 as well ^^ just not as good as 2. The story is the most lengthy one of the series. As for FF, I haven't been on much. I was in a PT with my NIN the other day but after 2k xp, I left, it was sucky. Tomorrow is Saoirse' birthday!! /hurray~ *huggums, kisses* We're going fishing to celebrate ^^. Thats really all that has happened. o_o I will probably go to Dynamis on Saturday. Other then that, I have no real desire to do anything on FF until the expansion comes out. Anyways, thats all I have to report, so Sayonara~! ^^/

Well It's been a while since I last posted on here. Not like it matters much, no one really reads my blog anyways. Been pretty hectic the last 3 months since Christmas. I recently moved to Arizona and am currently attending UAT (University of Advancing Technology) for a career in Game Design. In general I'm trying to learn a little bit of every job in game design, but in the end I would like to be a Game Designer; IE the man in charge. I think to get my foot in the door I'm going to specialize in Audio. I have a serious love...er...obsession if you will, with music. I play guitar and I absolutely adore J-rock, so you could easily see why it makes sense that I would go into Audio Design. Seems to me though that Audio in games is severely looked over because so much emphasis is placed upon the graphics and gameplay. A lot of games Audio staff are just a last minute type situation. The big-wigs come up and say "We have 5 months to get this game out, create an OST and add some voice dubbing," or so on. So I really hope to change how people look at game music and effects. I'm striving to be like my three current idols, Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy), Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill), and of course Yatsunori Mitsuda (Various games including Xenogears, Xenosaga, and Chrono Trigger). Those are some pretty big shoes to fill but I feel if I'm given the chance I can create compositions that would be memorable to gamers. Anyways back on topic.

As for my FFXI experience as of late, it's gotten rather sour. I've lost a few friends and had something "stolen" from me. Let me start at the beginning. We have been having some issues on my Linkshell recently for the past 2 months or so. It all started when Seraphpdh (another Blogger here /welcome) got our own Server on Ventrilo Voice Chat. We thought it would be a good idea for LS events as well as our current ongoing CoP missions. The thing is, not everyone has a mic; furthermore, not everyone is playing FF on the PC. So needless to say some people feel left out. I'm really sorry about that, but there isn't much going on in our voice chats. We mostly sit there not saying a word or rambling on about random topics. Anyways, it seems thats also during this time, the LS was in a sense divided. Basically there are 3 groups, mine which consists of people I've been doing things with recently, another with a group of ppl who know each other in real life and then theres the "n00b" group, which consists of ppl under lvl 60. Well Seig's group (#2) and my group have been bickering back and forth for a while now and Seig finally came to me to talk about it. I talked our problems over with Seig and we had a huge discussion on our behavior. His friends however weren't present so he said he would talk with them about it and get them to change how they were acting. The problem was he never talked to them and they continued to act like immature children. One night I got sick of his friend Ncloud butting in and being so rude, so I kicked him from the LS. I'm normally an easy going guy and this was the first real time I've had to kick someone. I've been walked all over far too much and I am getting sick of it. Needless to say he was pissed and the next day he tried to get back at me. Seig asked if he could borrow my Scorpion Harness. I said sure, because i trusted him. Later that night i found out from another friend that it was really Ncloud and he wasn't going to give my SH back. After 2-3 days of talking to him, he reluctantly gave it back. Now to anyone reading this, make sure you let your LS know if Ncloud is in it. They need to know that he is not trustworthy, and if things don't go his way, he will retaliate like this.

Another thing that has been bothering me is how some of my friends have been acting. Seraphpdh for example has been having Endgame Fever, which isn't BAD, its just annoying. He's been spending most of his time in Sky trying to get his armor from there. So it's been difficult trying to schedule our CoP runs. Also to make matters worse, he has annoyed me the other day with his lame excuse why he couldn't take an hour or two to do CoP, but he had enough time to do Dynamis which takes around 4hrs. Anyways, I don't hate him, but he has been annoying me lately, and he's not the only one -_-. On the lighter side of things, i got 56 NIN! Also got my DRG AF2 Helm from Dynamis-Xarcabard. Tomorrow morning I am doing Dynamis-Beaucedine and hopefully I'll be getting my DRG AF2 Body ^^. Most of my time however has been devoted to Suikoden V when it comes tomorrow. I can't wait ^^. I am so excited to play it. So needless to say I haven't been on FF much, and I really have no reason to log on, except to help some LS mates out with their Rank 8-10 missions for Windurst. Also, another close friend of mine just quit: Woulfgang. I haven't really talked to her much the last few months, but it's still sad to see her go T_T Bunny Ball~

To wrap this up I must say there is much more detail to the problems we have been having, but while typing this, my post was erased and I'm too tired to retype everything in perfect detail like it was before -_-. Anyways, see ya around on game D:

A New Start

Well it's been a long time since I've updated this. I've been really busy. I recently moved to Arizona~! XD It's so much nicer here then in Michigan! There's no snow!~ Wootaru~! Anyways, I start classes Jan 10th @ UAT. Major is Game Design ^.^

Life has been a little strange here obviously. Luckily my parents are paying for most everything but the apartment didn't come with furniture D: I've been going around trying to find furniture, but its proving to be difficult. I have no vehicle as you see so Opticon has been nice enought to take me around town when he has free time ^^. Hell, he even bought dinner last night at the Chinese restaurant we went to! I've been having fun but all i've managed to acquire so far has been a TV, a TV Stand, an air mattress and a computer chair. Realize that i have a computer chair....but no computer desk ^^; Hopefully Opticon will take me to get a futon and desk today after work but I'm not sure Dx

As for FFXI. I'm taking a break until Feb. I want to get settled this first month and get all my classes and priorities straight before I go back. I doubt anyone even know's i left XD I'm sure they'll all be ok without me for a month c_c. Kind of curious to see who is still on the LS when I return :P

H'omg I made a blog~!

Well I've been contemplating making a blog for some time now and I finally broke down and did it -_-. With the FFXI servers down for the moment I have nothing to do so here I am ^^;. Not a whole lot to say really. Guess I'll start with who I am:

Names Akanea and I'm currently a Lvl 74 DRG on the Odin server. I've been around since day one I guess you could say. Well, day one since it was released on PC back in Oct/Nov of 03'. Ah the good ole-days. I remember starting out and not knowing anyone and the excitement of my first trek to Jeuno (which ended horribly I might add Dx). I remember the first Linkshell i ever joined was Einheriar. Such an interesting LS it was too. Owned by Solace, who no longer plays the game to my knowledge. Those were my first real "friends". I didn't really fit in but I quickly learned how people act on the game and what anyone is capable of.

After eventually leaving that LS because of feeling unwanted and losing a close friend because of FFXI drama, i created my own LS with another friend from my hometown. We called it TrueRune, named after the Suikoden series of games XD. Honestly I never expected it to still be around today but low and behold it is alive and kicking. The first recruits were Kurgan, Macleod, Erieta, Sanzou, Ncloud, Ultrablue, Kaydia, Killasweet, and Eratosthenes. We had a great time back then ^^. I escorted Erieta, Killasweet and Sanzou on their first boat ride to San'doria. They were only lvl 10 at the time and I was around lvl 30-something DRG. That was fun. It was the first time i've actually had fun in this game with other players. I really enjoyed helping new players. Shortly later i saw the LS growing faster and faster with new people like Avar and Nclouds friends Nappycat and Seig. Next thing i know is we had over 12 members all together which was more than I planned for X_X. People kept asking to come in and I couldn't say no ^^.

Anyways, thats enough time spent down memory lane. Now and days members have long come and gone including 90% of the original members like Erieta and Sanzou. It's sad that there is such drama on a game that is meant to be fun. I've lost a lot of friends on this game. Kind of sad when you think about it, but thats how it is on FFXI. But it hasn't been entirely bad. I've gained some great friends as well who are still around like my Tarutaru buddy Tuufless. Oh how I love that Taru XD. Not to mention i bought FFXI for my girlfriend a year ago or so and now she's on the game and currently Lvl 65 THF ^^. Luff yous Saoirse~! I also got my friend who just started playing on my server, Andvari. I have many more friends on the game too but I'm really not close to them as I wish i was. It's great for a while then they just end up ditching me and hanging with their own friends. c_c.
I think the only real thing that bugs me is seeing people I started the game with and none remember me ._. It's rather depressing. I'm not going to name any names because that wouldn't do any good lol.

Anyways >_> that's my history with the game. A lot has happened since i first started the game in my life. For one thing, I'm still with my gf Sao ^.^ going on over 2 years now. Also i managed to do 2 years of community College and get an Associates of Art degree. Next I'm moving to Arizona to start at UAT where i will be majoring in Game Design. Heh whats nice is that i'll be living near 2 people i've met on FFXI: Opticon and Anjia.
They are nice enough to help me out soon as I get there by driving me around to get stuff for my apartment. I can't wait! Also, i'll have to take a short break from FF starting in January. I'll be back in February. I'm kind of worried about what will happen to the LS once i leave for a month, but I guess I'll find out when i come back. Tuufless is also taking a break then so that makes me feel a little better. He's been such a great friend. ^^v Anyways enough of the sob story about myself. I'm sure most people won't even read this XD~
